Come tour North Crestview with me!

Hey everybody! It is Andi G with The Emerald Group right here in beautiful Crestview, Florida. If you are new here and you want more info on Crestview and other Emerald Coast cities, go ahead and stay tuned until the end! Today, we are going on a tour of North Crestview!

North Crestview begins at the intersection of Hwy 85 and Hwy 90. If we head straight north, we will pass by a lot of strip malls, individual businesses, and just off the main highway here, plenty of individual houses. This area does not have much in the way of subdivisions, mostly the kind of houses you will see on either side of downtown as I talked about in my South Crestview video.

North Crestview houses that are still in town have a general range, for a move-in ready 3+ bedroom, as low as 160,000 and up to 700,000 lakefront property. Despite being at the top elevation for the state of Florida, we are still pretty close to sea level here in Crestview, so we have more lakes, ponds, and streams than you could shake a big stick at.

On the Northeast side of Crestview, just outside the city proper, is Bob Sikes Airport. Upside, small airport perfect for folks with small planes and pilot’s licenses. Downside…it is an airport with all that implies. But keep in mind that if you live in Crestview, Niceville, Valparaiso, Fort Walton Beach, Navarre, Pensacola, Panama City, really anywhere on the Emerald Coast, you will just have to get used to jet noises. The Air Force is not going anywhere.

On the Northwest Side, there are HOA communities out here like Silver Oaks and Wind Meadows off Old Bethel that are in the 300 to 400 thousand range.

Whether you look on the west or east of North Crestview, you have plenty of options as far as price range, and both sides of town have virtually the same access to grocery stores and services. Right on Hwy 85 is Crestview High School on the west, and on the east are the post office, library, and community center.

If you drive out Hwy 90 to the east, you will find what my granddad called “miles and miles or miles and miles,” so big lots with little houses. Horse property, farms, really rural areas. North Crestview as an area ends at the Shoal River, and beyond that, you will find lots of acre-plus properties, the Emerald Coast Zoo, and a lot of dirt roads. The rural areas around Crestview deserve their own videos, so we will talk more about them another day.

Hwy 90 west takes you towards Pensacola, and you will find some subdivisions like Lee Farms, which is an HOA community that is pretty popular with my military clients, where you can get a 4 bed, 2 baths, 2000 sqft home under 300,000, which is pretty sweet anywhere near the Emerald Coast.

That is all I have for today. Thanks for sticking with me to the end! If you enjoyed this blog, do not forget to visit our website for our weekly blogs every Tuesday and Thursday.

And if you are thinking about moving to Crestview or anywhere else here on the Emerald Coast, please give me a call, text, comment, message, whatever works for you, and let me help you make my hometown your hometown.
