Okaloosa Island is located between Fort Walton Beach and Destin Florida, and today we will talk about it.

Today we are going to talk about Okaloosa Island and we will be doing a driving tour and give you some aerial footage and a bunch of other good stuff. So stick around and let us chat about Okaloosa Island.

What is going on, it is Andrew with the Emerald Group right here in Fort Walton Beach Florida. If you are curious about moving to Fort Walton Beach Florida go ahead and reach out to us. For now, let us hop on the jeep and go check out Okaloosa Island.

Okaloosa Island is also called Santa Rosa Island depending on how you want to call it with 3 miles strip and there is a lot to talk about.

How the Island is set up is everything on the left side when coming from the bridge after turning right, they are going to be condos. Everything on the right side for the half of this portion is going to be a mix of everything of townhomes, condos, and single-family homes.

So if you are looking for real estate in this area keep in mind we are a Real Estate company first, you have got a few options all over the place. Single Family Homes will start about $300k to $400k. There is not a whole lot of them in that price range they will be going to scale up to higher because most of them would be waterfront. The condos will start about $300k around here gulf front and ready to go. You can definitely do it on the bayside which is way cheaper than that for about $100k where we at right now with the pricing.

There are seven private beach access points along this side. So that you know where you can go to the beach. There are a lot of condos all over the place like Surf Dweller which is one of my favorites, we also have the Emerald Isle, Emerald Towers West, the Islander, Pelican Isle, and so much more popular condos.

So if you do purchase something out here, keep in mind that you are not going to own the land per se initially. The entire Island is on a Land Lease, so it is actually owned by the government still, it’s on the recurring 99-year Land Lease.

We also got some great restaurants like FUBAR Pizza Bar, Asiago’s Skillet, AJ’s Oyster Shanty, we also got the Waffle House, and more.

We also have popular hotels like the Holiday Inn, Four Points by Sheraton, and more. We also have the Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park where you can see penguins, sharks, and a bunch of good stuff. We also have Angler’s Beach Side Grill, the Fishing pier, Boardwalk, Crab Trap, Wild Willy’s Adventure Zone, The Convention Center, the Gulf and so much more.

That is everything on Okaloosa Island that I want to go over. If you are curious about what it looks like to live here, just give us a shout. We enjoy talking to all of you. Until next time. See ya!
